Danielle & Mark's Engagement Shoot

Wet and windy is the best way to describe the hour spent near Danielle and Mark's home in Dorset! Dressed for the conditions, Danielle is used to donning wellies growing up on her parent's farm. Even such bad weather couldn't hide what beautiful countryside we are lucky to live in and certainly did nothing to stop the smiles coming.
Here are a few from the shoot.

Tara & Jon's Wedding

After several changes of both date and venue, Tara finally married Jon at the very picturesque Edington Church followed by a reception at Bridgwater Sports and Social Club.
The wedding proved to be a particularly emotional time and Tara also had a fit of the giggles! The chosen mode of transport was a vintage Volkswagen Campervan, which the Bride took full advantage of by having a whirlwind tour of the locality as a bonus for being early.
There were lots of laughs with the bridesmaids really having fun and playing up to the camera.
Tara looked absolutely stunning in a ruched-skirted dress with a heavily beaded bodice which sparkled in the sunlight.
Here are some of the highlights.

Tara & Jon's Engagement Shoot

Yeovil's best kept secret, Ninesprings, was the location for Tara and Jon's pre-wedding shoot on 14th August 2011.
Such a great place for a photo shoot - woodland walks, ponds and open grassy areas make for ample photographic opportunities and plenty of privacy.
A laid back couple who clearly adore one another; just look at those easy smiles!

Laura & Adrian's Wedding

Laura and Adrian married at the Church of St Christopher followed by a reception at The Old Mill, Batheaston, on 30th July 2011.
A perfect English Summer's Day made for a fabulous horse and carriage ride to each venue - punctuated only by a short interval for fixing a loose horseshoe!
Laura was radiant in her ivory gown next to her dashing (and very tall!) new husband.

Here's a snapshot of the day.

Toni & Nick's Wedding

Time flies and I have been so busy that I failed to notice how much I have neglected my blog - so the next few days I will try to play catch up.
Toni and Nick tied the proverbial knot at Thornbury Golf Club on July 15th 2011.
A dry, warm day, perfect for photographs and Toni looked stunning in her gorgeous white gown.
The doves were a romantic addition and were the subject of one of my favourite images of the day.

Toni & Nick's engagement shoot

Toni and Nick opted for their forthcoming wedding venue as the location for their engagement shoot. Thornbury Golf Club is quite exposed and the wind certainly whistles through the grounds at times, even in June!
Both were quite self conscious to begin with but, after a few laps round the orchard, they soon realized it was nothing to be scared of and started to relax. They definitely couldn't look more at ease than they do in these photos and I know we're going to get some stunning images of their wedding.

Laura & Adrian's engagement shoot

Laura and Adrian went back to the actual spot where Adrian proposed for their pre-wedding shoot. Clifton Suspension Bridge viewing platform to be exact!
A little nervous in front of the camera, I think this shoot did both Laura and Adrian the world of good and I am expecting them to be great on the day - we'll get some fab photos! That's what the pre-wedding shoot is about, after all - dispelling any nerves and feeling relaxed and natural on the big day.
It was quite a challenge to include (at least part of) the bridge in a portrait, but it turned out to be my favourite of the day.
